The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) inaugurated solar-powered wells project in Nigeria. This is in line with the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the KSrelief, to support the water sector and create a healthy environment in needy countries.
The project involves drilling of 6 solar-powered medium-depth water wells in Kwara State. Each well will be at least 80 meters deep, and will be equipped with tanks of 5000 liters capacity. The wells will provide access to clean water for 30,000 individuals.
