Atlas Copco recently introduced new WEDA 50+ and 60+ dewatering pumps designed to provide customers with enhanced levels of performance. This is in addition to improved efficiency, hassle-free maintenance as well as augmented capacity.
The pumps have been built by skilled technicians and are made from the highest quality materials to offer an extensive range of dewatering solutions for construction, industrial, emergency and maintenance applications.
Features
Atlas Copco Power Technique Business Development Manager for Portable Products, Sarel Bekker said that the WEDA range of electric submersible dewatering pumps are reliable and feature a custom-made sealing system and modular design that contribute to them being amongst the most flexible pumps in the business.
He further added that the WEDA+ range has taken all the impressive features of the founding WEDA range and has further improved on them with cutting edge additions. For instance the WEDA pumps range contains a built-in starter and motor protection system. These two allow for optional automatic level control.
Additionally, the pumps’ smart modular design includes machined slots. The slots make it easy to separate the different parts of each pump. Similarly, since all stainless steel bolts and nuts used within the machine are the same size, one tool can be used for the entire operation. Furthermore, in order to ensure optimum performance under harsh conditions, the WEDA pumps have adjustable wear resistant nitrile rubber diffusors and hardened high quality clog-free chrome impellers.
Ideally, the WEDA+ range of pumps are a stronger and better version of the successful Atlas Copco WEDA range. Some of the features include use of improved aluminum alloy with higher corrosion resistance. This serves to increase ruggedness and machine lifespan.
