Ghana is set to host the Ghana International Petroleum conference this month. Organized by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) in collaboration with the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD) and the Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMC), and under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy, GHIPCon 2024 aims to address critical issues and explore opportunities within the petroleum downstream sector.
The event is scheduled for July 17-18, 2024, in Accra. Key speakers will include the Vice President, who will deliver the keynote address, the Minister of Energy, and the CEO of the NPA. The conference will feature an extensive exhibition showcasing the latest innovations, products, and services in the petroleum industry, designed to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

The event will culminate on July 19, 2024, with the Ghana Downstream Dinner & Awards, celebrating excellence within the industry and recognizing companies and individuals for their contributions.

Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, CEO of the NPA, emphasized the significance of GHIPCon as a pivotal event for the industry, providing a platform for stakeholders to collaborate, innovate, and drive sustainable growth. The theme for this year’s conference is “The Petroleum Downstream: Building a Future for Growth, Efficiency, and Sustainability.”
