Africa Marks World Water Day 2023

Another critical area is enhancing water governance and management, which involves strengthening institutions, policies, and regulations that ensure effective and equitable allocation, use, and protection of water resources. This includes promoting integrated water resources management (IWRM) approaches that foster collaboration, participation, and transparency among stakeholders and ensure that water is allocated based on social, economic, and environmental priorities.
