Ebara Pumps Europe SpA has moved pump production from Brendola, in northern Italy, to a new, larger facility in the nearby town of Gambellara.
The relocation is designed to bolster Ebara’s pump production capacity to serve the growing pump market worldwide.
The new plant increases the Italian company’s production capacity of standard pumps and motors by 50%. The Gambellara plant site, which is about double the size of the Brendola location, is also home to an integrated distribution warehouse.
Ebara has had a branch in Italy for around 30 years. The company also has a plant in Cles, Trentino, that provides stainless steel pumps worldwide.
