Verder Liquids releases Dura 60

Verder Liquids has launched the Verderflex DURA 60 Hose Pump, specifically designed for applications such as metering, bulk handling and transfer duties. The Dura 60 is ideal for sludges, slurries, and abrasives across general industrial and mining operations.

“This latest addition to our industry-leading line of durable peristaltic pumps has been engineered with precision and built for reliability,” says Darryl Macdougall, Managing Director, Verder Pumps South Africa. “Crucially, as mining and industrial operations strive to reduce environmental impacts without compromising productivity, the Dura 60 represents a significant leap forward in both performance and energy efficiency.”

Verder Liquids – a global leader in industrial pump solutions – has designed the Dura 60 to support the evolving requirements of contemporary industries, providing exceptional durability, efficiency, and ease of use. With its cutting-edge technology, the Dura 60 aims to improve productivity and reduce operational costs for businesses across various sectors.

Key benefits of the new Dura 60 include:

  • Class leading performance of up to 16.5 m3/hr, and pressures of up to 16 bar
  • Minimised downtime and reduced cost of ownership
  • In-situ hose change/simplified spare holding requirement
  • Self-priming (capable of a suction lift of 9.5 mWc), dry running
  • Low shear design ideal for abrasive/solid slurries
  • Sealless, and valveless pumping operation with directly proportional flow stability and repeatability

“The Dura 60’s versatility makes it an ideal solution to a wide range of industrial applications. This hose pump is built to withstand the toughest industrial environments, ensuring long-term reliability and performance,” Macdougall says. “It is optimised for energy savings and high output to reduce operational costs and environmental impact, while its user-friendly design makes maintenance procedures accessible to all levels of technical staff.”

The Verderflex Dura 60 addresses the market need for a product that can handle high flow applications in a small footprint, ensuring low energy consumption even at high pressures.

“We are pleased to introduce the Verderflex Dura 60 to the market,” said Werner Douglas, Verderflex Product Manager at Verder Liquids. “This product embodies our commitment to enabling progress and our dedication to providing our customers with solutions that truly make a difference in their operations. We believe the Dura 60 will set a benchmark for performance and reliability in the industry.”

The DURA 60 is now available across Verder Group’s operational footprint, including in South Africa and Africa.
