The 12th edition of the annual event Africa PPP, Infrastructure Investment Partnerships Conference, is on online format, on 1 – 2 of December 2020, under the theme: “Partnering on public infrastructure projects for sustainable development and economic growth”.

Morocco is the host county, under the auspices of the Government of Morocco, particularly the Ministry of Finances and the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water.

The first Africa PPP Online is a Virtual platform including the following features: a Virtual Conference with live presentations and discussions, a Virtual Portal to link and connect project owners, authorities, developers, investors, lenders, advisors and consultants, a Virtual Meeting Point among the parts, to overcome the challenges of meeting face to face.

It will be the best platform to connect and engage with key stakeholders from governments, utilities, investors, project developers, industry advisors, DFI’s and all stakeholders working in the PPP space across Africa. This year will focus on the presentation of bankable projects in the pipeline, updates from current project developers and showcase of project opportunities.

 Over the years, a strong partnership between the public and the private sector as proved to be a fundamental element in the delivery and implementation of significant infrastructure projects under the PPP framework. The past 11 editions of Africa PPP gathered over 1800 delegates, 1000+ companies represented, 423 speakers, 40+ sponsors.

The 11th edition Africa PPP took place in Cape Town having the participation of 119 Delegates and 41 Speakers from 25 counties representing different industries such Public Sector (34%), Investors (21%), PPP Units (6%), Developers, Advisors and Contractors (39%). Moreover, the last year’ event had PPP Projects presented from 8 countries such: Cameroon, Ghana, Kenia, Namibia, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, and Tunisia.
