ANDRITZ wins an order to supply irrigation pumps for Egyptian pumping station

ANDRITZ GROUP, an International technology Group  has received an order from CONCORD for Engineering and Contracting to supply 17 vertical line shaft pumps, including a set of spare parts, for a pumping station supplying water  to the Nubaria irrigation canal, located south of the city of Alexandria, Egypt.

The supplied pumps will be individually adapted to the customer’s specifications and can achieve an aggregate flow rate of 11.7 m3 per second and a head of 28 meters at a shaft power of 222 kW.

ANDRITZ GROUP was awarded the contract due to the special technical features, the low life-cycle costs of their pumps, as well as the many years of experience that ANDRITZ has in the sector, with numerous references in the Middle East and Africa.
